From Rainbow Disco Club to Labyrinth, XDB has carved his name into the grooves of the Japanese festival circuit.

Of course he’s played to loving audiences at other world-class festivals like Freerotation, as well being a local staple at top clubs like Berghain and Tresor in his homeland of Germany. Now, XDB will finally bring the heat to the floor of VENT on July 27th.

XDB’s self-operated, boutique Metrolux Music label has been highly acclaimed by many in the industry, including Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman, Ellen Allien, Tama Sumo, Levon Vincet to name a few, and has continued to consistency release top-quality audio in very limited quantity, reinforcing his credibility as top DJ and producer. He’s released works on Francoise K’s Deep Space Media label and Patrice Scott’s Sistrum Recordings, and even went back to back with Kassem Mosse on a highly regarded release for Resident Advisor.

XBD’s DJ sets are something behold, as he digs through his immense collection of vinyl and drops them on the platters one by one, continuously taking the sonic journey from one genre to the next. He’s got a genius quality about him when he plays to the audience: it’s as if he is directly communicating with those on the dance floor his musical selection, further defining him as world-class audio artist.

On the domestic front, we have the maestro of Future Terror, the internationally acclaimed DJ Nobu, as well as resident at The Labyrinth, SO, and Mustache X, who recently gave a brilliant performance at Talaboman!
