Christian Smith, commander-in-chief of the Tronic label, and alongside Adam Beyer, one of the masters of the Scandinavian Techno scene, will be gracing the decks at Omotesando VENT on November 10th!

One of the pioneers in modern electronic music, Swedish music master Christian Smith makes his way to VENT on November 10th! Notable for dropping numerous classics on a range of labels like Plus8/Minus, Soma, Cocoon, Bedrock, INTEC, Mobilee, and Drumcode, he is truly a legend in the scene.

At age 15, Christian became greatly influenced by the legendary DJ Sven Vath, which was the impetus for his future career in music, and since the mid 90’s he’s released track after track. His own Tronic print is one of the world’s best-selling Techno labels with well over 250 releases to date. He’s collaborated and/or remixed numerous top artists like Laurent Garnier, Marc Romboy, Dave Angel, John Selway, Anna, and Harry Romero, to name a few, and champion of the scene who still actively holds label showcases all around the world. Even in Japan, he cut his teeth first at Wire and has been performing at clubs here ever since.

Minimal, Trance, House – surpassing genres, Christian has his finger on the pulse of modern dance music; constantly delivering tracks that are groove-filled and entrancing, he’s no stranger to crazed audiences that crave the tracks he drops in the mix. This party has been organized by <CARAVAN>, who have been throwing epic parties since 2012 at CLUB CITTA, and have brought over numerous top artists from all over the globe to play in Japan. Christian has had a long and fruitful career full of high quality tracks and performances, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity to have this absolute master hit the tables on our one-of-a-kind sound system, here at VENT!
