New school minimalist, Ness, from Italy, and Architectural who has won the support of the likes of Oscar Mulero and Sverca, are set to play at Liquid Drop Groove, only at VENT!

Liquid Drop Groove, which celebrated 3 years back in June, is set to kick off at VENT on November 8th! This time around, we are excited to host Italian new school minimalist Ness, who has been releasing on Prologue and Ear to Ground, and the deep hypnotic styles of Spain’s Architectural, also known as Reeko.

The musical nature of Ness’ DJ sets can be defined as deeply hypnotic, search for ambient soundscapes, the body-shaking basslines and mysterious yet addictively beautiful melodies have won him many fans in Japan. In 2007 he founded his own label, Mono Records, spreading his unique style all over the world, he started picking up some momentum. Subsequently, he released on Prologue, Ear to Ground, and Mental Modern. He’s also worked with artists like Claudio PRC, Deepbass, Giorgio Gigli, Attemporal, and Rasmussen Hedlund, leading to many achievements, proof of his hard work within the scene.

Originally known and most well known as Reeko – from DJ booths to festivals – Architectural is the new creative endeavor for this artist. He’s released on popular labels like Sverca’s Semantica and Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, and has also provided spacey futuristic soundtracks for movies, as well as some jazz.

Lead by Yuta, Liquid Drop Groove was kicked off as a special program on DOMMUNE and party on Hachijo Island back in September of 2016, and skyrocketed as a nonconformist label within the scene since. This past June saw their 3rd anniversary, celebrated with a double-headlined by Alien Rain and Psyk, which was a huge success. We hope that Liquid Drop Groove will create a “sound and space like a droplet hitting the surface of water, causing ripples!”
