Takkyu Ishino, a legendary figure in techno and a true icon of Japan’s electronic scene, slated to perform at VENT!

Takkyu Ishino, a member of Denki Groove, a group that needs no introduction, and a DJ who once played to 1.5 million people at Berlin’s legendary Love Parade, has long stood at the forefront of Japan’s music scene. Now, the iconic producer and DJ will be taking the stage at VENT!

Room 1 will feature Kai, who began DJing in 1996 and has developed a unique style rooted in tribal and percussion-driven tech house, techno, and house. Based in Niigata, he has performed at venues across Japan and released two albums to date. Also on the bill is Jun, known for groovy, uplifting sets centered on techno and tech house, with past support slots for Richie Hawtin and Ben Sims. Joining them is Erimiya, whose psychedelic, trippy sound forms the foundation of her powerful, danceable techno. She has played at festivals both in Japan and abroad, including Fuji Rock, and has toured internationally.

In Room 2, the lineup features hidemi, who plays mainly techno and house at venues across Tokyo, and Yearth, known for a selection focused on emotional deep techno. Also on the bill is U, who is deeply connected to various DJ communities in Tokyo and frequently performs throughout the city, along with Ririko, whose sound leans toward tension-filled minimal, hard tech house, and deep tech.
