Jane Fitzとも共演した音響派ダブ・テクノの職人XDB

FEROXやDial Recordsなど名門レーベルから数々の楽曲をリリース。Waking LifeやHoughtonといったフェスにも定期的に招聘される30年にわたるキャリアを持つベテランアーティスト。

共演には、ライブラリ・LPレーベルSnakerをキュレーションしデュオCos/Mesの片割れとして知られている5iveに加え、WonderfruitやRainbow Disco Clubなど国内外のフェスにも出演し日常に寄り添う音楽とサイケデリックの融合を試みるYAMARCHYと、NYCと東京を中心に活動し国内外のベニューやフェスに出演を重ねるDJ Healthyがバック・トゥー・バックで登場する。

ROOM2では、Solstice Festivalを主宰し20年近くに及ぶキャリアを有するダビーでグルーヴィーな独特の雰囲気を作り出すプレイを得意とするJoni DJと、直球のベース・テクノを軸にルーディーな横ノリとソリッドなグルーヴを束ねフロアを腰から揺らすChun Li、アンビエントとシンセサウンドを用い調和と叙情的な連続性の間にある現象を追い求めているHue Ray、ハウス・ミュージック・コレクティブ「CYK」のメンバーでありソロにおいても国内外で多くのギグを重ねピュア・エナジーを放出し続けているKotsuがプレイする。

XDB, a master of spatial dub techno who has shared decks with Jane Fitz, comes to VENT.

With a career spanning three decades, he has built a respected catalog on labels including Ferox and Dial Records while making regular appearances at festivals such as Waking Life and Houghton.

Room 1 features 5ive, curator of the library music label Snaker and one half of Cos/Mes. He is joined by Yamarchy, who explores the intersection of everyday listening and psychedelia with appearances at Wonderfruit and Rainbow Disco Club, and DJ Healthy, a New York and Tokyo-based DJ who has performed at venues and festivals in Japan and abroad, for a back-to-back set.

Room 2 features Joni DJ, founder of Solstice Festival, whose nearly two-decade career is defined by dubby, groove-driven sets; Chun Li, who combines bass-heavy techno with loose, rolling rhythms and solid grooves; Hue Ray, who explores the space between harmony and lyrical continuity through ambient and synth textures; and Kotsu, a member of house collective CYK who continues to deliver pure energy across solo appearances in Japan and abroad.
