日本初！！昨年のFLANGERとしての初ライブもまだ記憶に新しいUwe Schmidtこと鬼才 Atom™ が、6月16日のVENTにて最新のライブセット”Deep State”を披露！Atom™️、ATOM HEART、Señor Coconut、FLANGERなど多くのアーティスト名義を使い分け、エレクトロニック・ミュージック界において一際異彩を放つアーティストが、今年の5月にヨーロッパでプレミア公開するという最新ライブセットを引っさげて、過去９年間に及びAtom™️の東京公演をサポートしてきたアートの視点で音楽を楽しめる新感覚なイベント” Bcc:Fiesta “のメインアクトとして登場する。

Atom™️やATOM HEARTとしてのライブセットでコアなテクノラヴァーの脳裏にその強烈なサウンドを焼き付け、ときにはSeñor CoconutとしてYMOやKRAFTWERKなどの楽曲にコミカルなラテンエッセンスを加えて再構築したバンドセットでのマジカルなトラックで多くのリスナーに影響を与え、ここ日本でも絶大な人気を誇るUwe Schmidt。

自身のレーベルであるRather InterestingをはじめRaster Notonなどの名門レーベルから、多くの名義を使い分けてリリースした作品はなんと400枚近くにのぼる。様々なジャンルの音楽に実験的要素を取り入れてノイズ、アンビエント、ラテンやテクノトラックを制作してきた彼が今回新たに披露するライヴセット”Deep State”は、90年代のベーシックチャンネルを彷彿とさせる深い低音とストイックなリズムが特徴的で、難しく解釈されがちなベースミュージックにノリやすさを足したようなユニークなライヴセットとなるだろう。チリ在住ということから数少ない来日機会の中、待望の再来日は最新のライブを披露するというプレミア公演に期待が膨らむばかりだ。

Under his monikers ATOM HEART, Señor Coconut, and FLANGER, he built a stable position in an electronic music scene. As ATOM™ or ATOM HEART, he performs unique niche live set, and as Señor Coconut, he produces tracks from YMO and KRAFTWERK with a touch of comical latin vibes. Uwe is releasing over 400 tracks from his own label Rather Interesting or infamous label Raster Noton. His wide production even includes noise, ambient, and Latin.
