エレクトロニック・ミュージックにおける究極のデュオの一組、Atom™ and Tobias.がMind Offに登場

VENTにて定期的に開催されてきた人気のテクノ・パーティーMind Off 014が8月30日に開催！2019年にはOscar Murerlo、Marco Shuttle、Tensalといった素晴らしいアクトを迎えて行われてきたが、14回目となる今回はエレクトロニック・ミュージックにおける究極のデュオの一組、Atom™ and Tobias.が満を持して登場！過去にはそれぞれソロでVENTに出演してきたが、今回は待望のデュオでの3時間セットを披露する！

Atom™ とTobias Freundの二人は、エレクトロニック・ミュージックにおいて唯一無二の存在だ。長いキャリアを持つ二人はそれぞれソロとしてメインストリームなポップスから、クラブミュージック、ジャンル分け不能な作品まで幅広い作品を制作しているが、共に活動をするようになったのは二人がフランクフルに住んでいた1986年のことだった。この頃はテクノ以前の音楽シーンが花開こうとしていた頃だったという。スタジオでの制作だけではなく、即興で行われるインプロスタイルのエレクトロニック・ミュージック・ライブを大きく展開していったのだ。

ベルリンとチリのサンティアゴにそれぞれが移住したため10年のブランクがあったが、2003年にチリで行われたMutekでの再結成は完璧なものだった。その後はデュオとして頻繁に世界各地でライブセットを披露してきた。ソロのセットを含めても彼らはLabyrinthなど日本のシーンにも強烈な印象を与えてきた。

テクノのマイスターであるAtom™とTobias.の二人が作り出す完全即興のライブセットは、Mind Offでしか究極のライブ体験となるだろう！

On August 30th Mind Off is very excited to present a special summer edition at VENT with none other than Atom™ & Tobias.

Atom and Tobias have played separately at VENT before, however this is the first time they will stand together and take you on a 3 hour journey on VENT’s amazing sound system.

Individually as well as a duo they need little introduction in the world of electronic music. In fact many would argue that they are living legends. In Japan they are very well known for their mesmerizing sets at Labyrinth.Their live sets are always completely improvised, both immersing into the unknown territory of the venue, the audience and the sound.

However knowing their audience in Japan as well as having experienced VENT’s sound system, will give them an advantage to take their performance to a higher level.
This is one of the performances not to be missed this year so get your dancing shoes ready and join us at VENT on August 30th.
