We’ve got a double headliner night for you! One of the leaders of new school minimal, the brilliant Edit-Select, and Frank Muller, aka Beroshima (Marcel Dettman has publically announced that he is a huge fan!) will be taking charge of the decks at Omotesando VENT!

We’ve got a huge night lined up for you on August 10th – not one, but two brilliant artists will be throwing down sets, only at VENT! First off we have the amazing Edit-Select, one of Glasgow’s finest, and a top player in the new school minimal scene along with Slam and Gary Beck. Edit-Select, or Tony Scott, has released smash hit after smash hit on a wide selection of killer labels that include Ostgut Ton, Soma, and Prologue. Next we have Frank Muller, aka Beroshima, a top artist from Berlin whose release on Rødhåd’s Dystopian was a breakthrough. It’s also known that Marcel Dettman has been a longtime fan and has been highly influenced by him. Do not sleep on this double-headliner night!

Edit Select (Tony Scott) has been active in the electronic music scene since the early nineties under various pseudonyms. Under the Edit Select name, not only did he create a new project, he also established its eponymous label in 2007, the focus of which is atmospheric yet stripped-down, back-to-basics techno tracks for club use. He’s dropped several 12 inches on labels like Ostgut Ton and Figure, and has remixed for the likes of Speedy J, Chris Liebing, and VCMG. Edit Select’s debut full-length album was released on the German label Prologue in 2014, as he has also launched singles on CLR, Dreiklang and Semantica.

Frank Muller, aka Beroshima, has been a highly respected leader in the Berlin techno and house scene nineties. Not only has he released a wide assortment of works as a producer, he’s also jet set around the world’s clubs and festivals performing as both a DJ and live performer. His vision and energy has not changed since the nineties; traversing genre barriers, and always on the frontlines, Frank Muller is an important player in underground electronic music, and has continued to drop releases on leading labels of the modern scene like Dystopian.
