The true heirs of New York House is back! Kim Lightfoot and DJ Nori are set to drop a double-header at VENT!

These two masters have been carrying the torch of the New York House legacy into the modern era, Kim Lightfoot and DJ Nori will be making their third appearance at VENT, on October 11th!

This dynamic duo, well-known for keeping the New York House sound alive and authentic as its originators, Paradise Garage’s Larry Levin and The Loft’s David Mancuso, would have wanted, are set to get back together! Hailing from Brooklyn, Kim Lightfoot plays a mix of sounds passing through the filter that is house music, with thick, swelling beats that are both elegant and delicate, keeping the dance floor live and pulsating! Once you hear it, you’ll be hooked, and won’t settle for any other DJ except Kim! Because of this he’s won over the hearts of artists like Timmy Regisford and Danny Krivit. He is the DJ’s DJ!

DJ Nori traversed the Pacific over to the U.S. back in the 80s, where he went on to play alongside the legendary Larry Levan. This legendary Japanese DJ’s career has spanned an epic 35 years. His mixes are not only popular in Japan, but have received accolades all over the world. He holds a regular Gallery and Tree party, and he has recently paired up with DJ Muro for the Captain Vinyl project, where they intend to impart their deep knowledge of music across varied generations of listeners through their own unique forms of expression.
