Representing Berlin, master techno DJ Marcel Fengler returns to VENT

He was one of Berghain’s first resident DJs, and along with compatriot Marcel Dettmann, Fengler helped build modern techno into the phenomenon that it is now. Hailed as one of techno’s most important DJs representing Berlin by Resident Advisor, Marcel Fengler will be making his third appearance at VENT, on February 23rd!

Fengler cut his teeth by throwing parties with childhood friend Marcel Dettmann. Over 20 years later, he has honed his craft impeccably to deliver a dynamic DJ style. With a sixth sense that is second to none for reading what the audience is craving to hear, like some sort of techno wizard, he can shift the energy of the dance floor with the drop of a single track.

Not only is he a master DJ, but he is also a skilled producer who has drop some impressive works. Alva Noto, who experienced one of Fengler’s sets at Berghain, once remarked that Fengler was an inspiration.
