Marcel Fengler - colleague of Marcel Dettman, and shining resident DJ at the holy grounds of Techno, Berghain!

Globe-trotter, producer, label manager, and one of the current Techno scene’s top DJs, Marcel Fengler has been hailed by Resident Advisor as one of the best and brightest Techno DJs. Post-wall Berlin in the 90s was truly an epic decade, and the latter half saw the likes of Fengler with his accomplice Dettmann start organizing parties and cutting their teeth, so to speak. Fengler, now a resident at Berghain, has been jet setting around the globe spreading the gospel of Techno and now he will make his way to VENT!

Fengler is a dynamic DJ who has inexhaustible passion and considers Techno part of his own identity; this translates into his sounds sometimes weaving a narrative based strictly on emotion, and other times it could be vastly more diverse – a mirror of the current state of Techno itself. It’s been nearly a year since he has been in Tokyo, and we look forward to him playing at VENT alongside other artists like DJ Saimura, Reki and Sinzin!
