Regular of Panorama Bar, Dekmantel, and Freerotation - Midland is set to perform in Japan for the first time!

Midland epitomizes the DJ/producer of the 2010s, rolling out tightly crafted club sounds to pop songs, this seasoned House DJ is highly capable of blending Techno, Disco, and music from his native UK. He’ll be bringing his magic touch to the dance floor here at VENT during his very first live performance in Japan, set for January 19th!

Midland’s collaborative effort with Pearson Sound (then Ramadanman), “Your Words Matter”, released via Aus Music was an international smash hit! He’s expertly shifted back and forth between Post-dubstep and House, banging out legit fire that has been lauded by DJs the world over as dance floor killers! Additionally, he’s remixed Mano Le Tough and Darkstar, which over the past decade has helped firmly plant his position as a producer that artists can depend on for dope tracks.

Highly reputable production work aside, perhaps Midland has made his biggest impact on music through his DJing. The combination of his kaleidoscopic selection and exquisite mixing technique has rocked parties all over the globe. From boat parties on the Adriatic to the carpeted dance floor of Freerotation, Berghain’s Panorama Bar in Berlin to Amsterdam’s Dekmantel to London’s Fabric, to the sporadic all night one-man DJ set, whatever the context, Midland delivers and emotional experience to his audience.

Midland’s mixes for Resident Advisor, Beats in Space, and Fact Mag have all been dubbed classics by the countless users who’ve discovered him through word of mouth. His set for BBC’s Essential Mix in 2016 was selected “Essential Mix of the Year” and was described by Pete Tong as “a real timeless classic from start to finish”.
