The highly skilled Minimal House and Modern Techno maestro, Mike Shannon will be touching down at VENT

Mike Shannon, based out of Berlin, key player in the minimal house and modern techno scenes, who played at the Tokyo countdown party two years ago, will take the stage during Artemis at VENT! Come spend the night with us and hear top-caliber acts play on VENT’s top-of-the-line and highly praised sound system!

Artemis: a modern electronic music party with a splash of drama. Up to now, lineups have included the ever astute DJs VERA and Ultrastrech, who’ve been the topic of interest with their newly released Melliflow label; resident of Get Perlonized, Sammy Dee; and artists who express their own unique interpretations of House music hailing from Berlin cult labels like Workshop and Lowtec.

Mike Shannon, a key player in the Canadian scene – possessing a unique and intense talent – who has played his edgy and deep sounds all over the global, will grace us on the decks at VENT. His DJ skills are beyond intelligent; they are transcendental. His chopped up staccato grooves lend to a distinct style that have gained a lot of attention on dance floors the world over. As a producer he has released singles and mixes on labels like Plus 8, Force Inc., ~Scape, etc., and in recent years has been active as part of the unit Dewalta and Shannon. As an A&R man, he has dug out talents like Cynosure and Haunt Music, while as a DJ has evangelized artists like Akufen, Deadbeat, and Ernesto Ferreya.
