NUSIC & HIRANYA ACCESS present “BONNA POT SPIN-OFF” at VENT

As the year comes to a close, NUSIC & HIRANYA ACCESS present “BONNA POT SPIN-OFF” at VENT.

In Room 1, Berlin-based An-i (a.k.a. Lee Douglas) returns to Japan following a striking performance at last year’s BONNA POT, where the space itself seemed to twist under an otherworldly soundscape. While releases are often associated with industrial techno, An-i’s DJ work reveals a wide range of musical identities, from slow psychedelic techno in the 80 to 100 BPM range, to freeform house sets with isolator-heavy work, and unusual listening-oriented selections. The DJ sets are marked by exceptional control, a strong sense of liveness, and a raw, punk-like intensity.

Also appearing are Akiram En and Abiu, two singular DJs known for generating deeply musical dance grooves. With a floor redesign by Hiranya Access, who also designed VENT’s sound system, the DJ booth will be placed directly on the dance floor. Taguchi monitor speakers will be brought in to create a more intimate connection between DJ and floor, aiming for a sound and spatial experience that reaches deep into the senses.

Room 2 is built around the concept of the “one track, one soul” set, creating a space to enjoy a broad range of music that is difficult to present in a conventional club DJ mixing format. Appearing are Artman a.k.a. DJ K.U.D.O., a true pioneer of techno, ambient, and freestyle DJing in Japan now marking 50 years behind the decks, alongside 7e and Kagamimin. These three DJs will present sets that focus on the individuality and character of each track, distinct from both standard dance sets and typical listening sets.
Each DJ brings expansive musical range and strong individuality, and the aim is to create a celebratory space where these qualities can fully unfold while remaining in harmony. In the open freedom of the dance floor, this night promises a fresh and surprising sound journey, sharing the depth of music as a free-form expression and the joy of dance through VENT’s exceptional sound system. Come with those you want to dance with and stay from open to close.
