2大巨頭による奇跡の完全インプロ、Sebastian MullaertとMathew Jonsonのオールナイト・ライブ！

これは奇跡という他になんと言って良いのだろうか？エレクトロニック・ミュージックにおける2大巨頭、Sebastian MullaertとMathew Jonsonの2人が一同に介し、12月14日のVENTにてオールナイトでのライブセットを繰り広げる！

Sebastian Mullaertは過去二回に渡ってVENTにてロングセットを披露してきてくれた。2018年にはソロでの7時間に及ぶDJセット、そして今年の8月にはVENTの3周年アニバーサリー・パーティーにてCircle Of Liveでのオールナイト・ライブ・セットで日本のオーディエンスの度肝を抜いたことも記憶に新しいだろう。禅を愛するSebastianのスタイルそのもので、自然の流れのままに生み出される音楽の瞬間瞬間は素晴らしいものであった。

方やMathew Jonsonもフリースタイル・テクノ・ジャムバンドCobblestone JazzやModern Deep Left Quartetでシーンを震撼させたミニマル／テクノのパイオニアと言える存在である。今年の4月には怒涛のロングセットをVENTにて見せつけてくれ、”エレクトロニック・ミュージックのライブアクトの完成形”と称される所以は疑いのないものであった。

両者ともにCircle Of Liveでの共演は果たして入るが、マンツーマンでの東京でのライブセットは初となる試みだ。一夜を通して創り上げられる予測不可能なインプロセットをぜひ直に体感してもらいたい！

Get set for two giants going at it in a totally improve setting – come see Sebastian Mullaert and Mathew Jonson perform live, all night, only at VENT!

Getting to artistic giants to a miracle in its own right. Two top-tier electronic artists, Sebastian Mullaert and Mathew Jonson will be performing together, live, all night at VENT on December 14th!

Sebastian Mullaert has performed long sets at VENT his past two visits. A seven-hour solo DJ set in 2018, and an all-night live set at Circle of Live at VENT’s 3rd Anniversary Party back in August. A lover of Zen, Sebastian’s style exemplifies this love, with spectacular musical moments created in a natural, flowing manner.

Mathew Jonson is a minimal/techno pioneer who shook the scene to its core with the freestyle techno jam bands, Cobblestone Jazz and Modern Deep Left Quartet. In April of this year, he dropped an epically long set here at VENT, which was massive by the way, casting away any doubt about whether a “complete form of a live electronic music act” could come to fruition.
Both of them played alongside one another at Circle of Live, but this is the first attempt to make a one-on-one live set in Tokyo. We want you to experience an unpredictable improv set that will keep on recreating itself, all night long!
