Woody92, organizer of the multifaceted platform/label Omen Wapta and artist who has performed at Dekmantel and other venues, alongside Sydney-based Kaisei, who has been garnering attention for his unique releases, will illuminate the stage at VENT!

Two cutting-edge artists from labels that epitomize avant-garde techno will appear at SECT hosted by OCCA/YSK!

One of the main acts headlining SECT this time is Woody92, the visionary behind Omen Wapta, a concept label that transcends music to encompass graphic and fashion design, shaping the Dutch electronic scene. Known for his innovative approach, Woody92 infuses minimalist, hypnotic techno with psychoactive leftfield elements, crafting a sophisticated and unpredictable mixing style. As a respected music curator, he’s slated to perform at prestigious events like Dekmantel Festival, Deckmantel Selector, Taiwan’s Organik Festival, and Japan’s Paramount Open Air.

Furthermore, Sydney-based Kaisei, co-founder of alkaanet alongside Zakaya, a platform/label dedicated to hypnotic musical expression, adds his unique touch to the lineup. Renowned for his distinctive sound, Kaisei has delivered a string of unparalleled tracks on cutting-edge labels such as K.O.P. 32’s Beyond The Bridge and Lithuania’s Area127. His contributions extend beyond production, with mixes featured on Norway’s Ute.Rec and Pure Space, as well as Neon Cleptu, hosted by Woody92, the event’s headliner.

In addition to Woody92 and Kaisei’s magnetic presence, Tokyo-based vinyl collector olevv returns to Room 1, showcasing his adeptness in manipulating various styles, from Techno to House and DnB. And making their much-anticipated debut appearance, organizers OCCA/YSK are set to deliver an electrifying B2B set titled MIVILUDESSS, promising an brilliant night of pulsating beats tapered with sonic exploration.

In Room 2, Katsuya, who’s been broadening his horizons at Sound Space α, a pivotal techno hub in Kitakyushu, Japan, sets the stage. Joining him is Lisa Mizuno, the driving force behind Resonance at Kagurazaka KGRn, making waves both locally and internationally. nø¡R brings a wealth of experience, specializing in boundless expression across a spectrum of psychedelic flavors. And Toner, spearheading Liminal Dreams, a haven for electronic and ambient music enthusiasts, completes the eclectic lineup.
