When it comes to producing a DJ set, for Steve Bug there are no compromises. His labels, Poker Flat and Audiomatique, have been massively influential, to say the least. Ever devoted to his music and scene, the always energetic Steve Bug takes seriously his position as one the world’s top DJs, which is why he is adored by fans and artists the world over; even Resident Advisor has dubbed him “Gentleman of Techno”.

Steve Bug grew up in Germany during the golden age of techno and acid house, nurturing his love of music that eventually transition into his pursuit for the perfect sound. With impeccable DJ skills and a keen ear, he chose to walk the path of the fresh, hybrid sounds of deep house with acid overtones, as well as minimal electronic music, rather than going the way of trance and harder dance music that was popular in the 90s.

A somewhat rare thing in this scene, Steve has consistently released albums throughout his 20 year career. His 2018 album, released on Poker Flat, “Paradise Sold”, was dubbed as being a dose of “elegant euphoria”.
