Lena Willikens, a left-field techno artist appearing at venues and festivals ranging from Berghain to Dekmantel, comes to VENT

An artist widely respected as a DJ’s DJ, known for a distinctive groove shaped by the experimental side of techno.

Room 1 features GION, a unit formed by yohei HIBIKI, active domestically and internationally with a style combining scratching and DJ mixing, and SIGNAL, who has previously performed alongside Mathew Jonson at VENT. Also lined up are the Tokyo-based duo ppq, consisting of Tonbo and Nory Kimjima; torus, a unit selecting a wide range of tracks from techno to house in an all-vinyl set; and Cheshire Yums, who plays with a focus on abstract techno.

Room 2 features pachi, active since 2002 and known for playing across house and techno; Naoki Hayakawa, who has released music on European labels including Diffuse Reality and Humanoid Gods; P-xy, whose sets draw on extensive knowledge spanning techno, house, and dark psychedelic trance; MZKN, active mainly in Tokyo and selected as the opening DJ for Ben Klock’s Japan performance earlier this year; Ki, who performs at venues such as Daikanyama Débris and Sangenjaya MonkeyBar; and Chieko Hakuto, whose selections range from old-school R&B and house to left-field techno.
