Tale of UsやMind Against、Recondite、Jaokim、Maceo Plexなどのリリースが毎回話題となるイタリアのLife and DeathレーベルのファウンダーにしてA&RのTennis。今やヨーロッパを飛び越えてアメリカでも目覚ましい活躍を遂げている中、満を持してVENTに登場!!

過去にはバンドのツアーマネージャーやイベントのオーガナイザーなども携わっていたというTennisは、映画のサントラやテレビのコマーシャル用の楽曲制作などでそのキャリアをスタート。2010年に自身のプロデュース作をリリースすべくThugfuckerレーベルのGreg OreckとともにLife and Deathレーベルを立ち上げた。レーベルからアナログ中心にリリースされるビジョナリーな楽曲は瞬く間に全世界のヘッズをトリコに。いまやシーンのトップに躍り出た前述のアーティストたちの作品を相まってヨーロッパの最重要レーベルの一つと言っても過言ではないだろう。

The label Life and Death – Tennis is founder and A&R of the Italian label – has drawn much attention through releases of Tale of Us, Mind Against, Recondite, Jaokim, Maceo Plex, etc. Tennis has been very active not only in Europe, but in the US as well, and now he will be coming to VENT!
In the past, Tennis was a band manager and event organizer, and even produced film soundtracks and commercial jingles. In 2010, he and Greg Oreck of Thugfucker launched the label Life and Death and started releasing his produced works. The label focuses on vinyl releases, and its visionary works have gained instant worldwide notoriety. With the scene-leading artists mentioned above on their roster, it is no exaggeration to say that they have become one of the most important labels in Europe.

Tennis expertly blends European electronic music aesthetics with Miami-style party flavor in his sets foreshadows a brilliant party at Omotesando’s new hot spot, VENT!
