The announcement Tornado Wallace’s release on Gerd Janson’s Running Back print made waves almost instantaneously, and he’s received the support and acclaim of the scene’s top DJs like DJ Harvey, Andrew Weatherall, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and Eric Duncan. And now it has been confirmed that he will be performing at Monkey Timers’ DISKO KLUBB party at Omotesando VENT, on June 22nd!

Tornado Wallace is one of the talents to come out of one of the world’s greatest party nations, Australia. In recent years, he been gaining popularity as a key figure in the domestic dance music scene, heading the party collective/label, “Animal Dancing”. Hailing from Melbourne, he currently resides and is active in Berlin, with appearances on Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space, and tracks released on Lovefingers’ ESP Institute and Jamie Tiller’s Music from Memory’s sublabel, Second Circle. He has become a prominent figure in the house and new disco scenes of the past decade. As a remixer, Tornado Wallace has lent a hand to Cut Copy, Matthew Dear, Eddie C, and Recloose, and is currently getting a lot of attention since it was announced that he will be producing an album for Jose Padilla’s International Feel, a stable label for all things Balearic.

The brightest hope for the new generation, Monkey Timers’ party, DISKO KLUBB has, in the past, featured talented acts like DJ Tennis, ATA, John Talabot, Maurice Fulton, Young Marco, San Proper, Time Sweeney, and Justin Van Der Volgen.
