Trus'me: Grooving sounds that have Juan Atkins, Gilles Peterson and Motorcity Ensemble in a frenzy!

A byproduct of the Manchester/Detroit connection. In 2008, as soon as the masterpiece “Working Nights” was released, the name Trus’me was on the tips of everyone’s tongues. The grooving sounds of Detroit that have up to now been maintained by Moodymann and Theo Parrish have crossbred with that certain Mancunian essence to go on to produce track after track of dope sounds that have not only captured the hearts of DJs, but have also quickly become recommended tunes on the shelves of record stores throughout Japan!

Trus’me’s latest release “Planet 4”, dropped last year, has a thick and groove-laced Detroit sound with dub sensibilities and a minimal beat is work of the highest order, and has garnered a lot of attention from all over.
