Solar, a heavyweight of the West Coast underground dance music scene who made his name known worldwide with his appearance at Dekmantel

Founder of San Francisco’s legendary Sunset party, he is a DJ’s DJ who has been at the forefront of the US underground for over 30 years.

Room 1 features Shhhhh, who developed a freestyle groove that moves freely from folk music to contemporary electronic sounds, with his 2022 gamelan mix selected as RA’s Mix of the Day; alongside Zundokodisco, a DJ duo consisting of Bow and Sisinobu, who have developed a style that occupies the gray area between genres, incorporating abstract beats and drum and bass.

Room 2 features Mazlika, who pursues a unique form of self-expression through dance, music production, fashion, and art; Astma, who moves across techno, bass, and experimental music through a foundation of hard-edged sounds like noise and industrial; Aki Igarashi, who builds the floor with free-ranging selections rooted in minimal house and tribal house; and Yukei, who organizes raves at locations throughout Tokyo, from abandoned buildings and underground warehouses to the Tama River, creating not only music but spaces, communities, and culture around the dancefloor.
