Founder of the popular Keinemusik label that has signed artists like &ME and Rampa, who has gained the support and respect of Acid Pauli, David Mayer will be coming to VENT!

If you’ve been to VENT then you’re probably familiar with &ME and Rampa – both artists have released on David Mayer’s Keinemusik print, and now David will be gracing the decks at VENT on August 9th! Come check out this leading artist of the German house scene who also happens to be the head of one of the most hi-tech labels in Berlin!

David prefers unconventional ideas and concepts; when he listens to music it he doesn’t get stuck in a single genre, he has expansive tastes and that’s exactly the way he likes it! He’s passionate about hard and heavy four on the floor beats, and it shows in his musical output. If you analyzed his works, you would soon become intrigued with the fine details and layers of sound design that has gone into it as you delve deeper and deeper.

David Mayer has released works on various prestigious labels, like Connected operated by Stereo MC’s and Terranova, as well as Denis Ferrer’s Objektivity. Last year, David dropped a release to high acclaim on Acid Pauli’s OUÏE label, and has gained the support of many a DJs in the scene, while striving release works at a continuous pace. He’s also provided remix efforts for Berlin labels like Kompakt, Get Physical, Offering Recordings, and Rise Music, carving a name for himself into the scene, at both home and abroad, as not only a producer but as a DJ as well.

David Mayer has a knack for incorporating catchy elements into his music, whether it be during a DJ set, or when producing, there’s always something a little deep that gets mixed in along with the techno, percussive, and house elements. He’s constantly releasing works, with almost no interruption, so there’s always going to be something new being laid onto the platter. This will be David’s first performance in Japan, so be sure not to sleep on this one!
