Gerd Jason has received the support and respect of superstar DJs like Theo Parrish, Todd Terje, and Dixon, so you can bet your bottom dollar that he’s going to lay down some dope tracks when come to VENT!

Many a top DJ have been keeping an eye Gerd Janson since way back when, and they all give him tons of respect as one of the best DJs in the new house scene. Gerd will be making his long-awaited return to the Land of the Rising Son, to play at Disko Klubb x Pleasure, Monkey Timers 10th Anniversary, only at VENT on November 3rd!

Gerd Janson runs the prestigious German label, Running Back, and hosts the regular party, Liquid, at the world renowned Robert Johnson in Frankfurt. As a DJ, he’s got a very good reputation, especially in Europe. As operator of Running Back, Gerd released, at the time unknown, Mark E’s original works, not to mention singles by top artists like Theo Parrish, Radio Slave, Todd Terje, Tensnake, Move D, Mr. G, as well as the masked cut-up disco duo Tiger & Woods’ album – all this almost instantaneously boosted the label’s notoriety and importance within the industry.

A man of many talents, Gerd also works as a music journalist, writing for some of Germany’s leading music magazines like Groove and Spex. Additionally, he has been an integral member of the Red Bull Music Academy. He’s also part of Tuff City Kids along with Phillip Lauer – originally to be a remix project only – the pair have went on to release the album “Adoldesscent” on the highly popular label Permanent Vacation. He’s done remix work for a wide range of artists, and accordingly, he’s receive much acclaim for said work, resulting in the past few years being super busy for Gerd!

Last year’s party brought over some of the new house scene’s top talent over to Japan, which left a lasting impression on those who were fortunate enough to catch it, so we really hope you don’t miss this year’s, as it’s going to be certified fire! And the icing on the cake is that this time, we will be celebrating 10 years, with Monkey Timers combining forces with the creative unit from Jakarta, Pleasure!
