Trail blazers of UK minimal house and one of the top live acts in Europe, Mr. G will be dropping a banger of a live set to kick of the third installment of the highly popular party, Kewl, on January 18th, 2020 only at Omotesando VENT!

Hailing from the UK, Mr. G. cut his teeth back in 1994 when he formed the techno unit The Advent along with Cisco Ferreira. He has released many works through the Internal print, becoming a world-renowned artist. After leaving The Advent he embarked on his solo career and in 1999 he founded the Phenix G label. Mainly focused on his own works, Mr. G continues to release loads of floor-devastating tracks that have been keeping many a DJs hungry for more. In 2010, he hit a turning point, releasing “Still Here” from Rekids, which was a massive hit. Media outlets praised it highly, with some naming it album of the year. Funky Chicago house and Detroit techno vibes with vividly sexy sounds combined, made it a release that ended up getting played – a lot – by heavyweight DJs like Derrick May and Francois K.

The party Mr. G will be performing at, KEWL, was first launched in 2017, and since then it has brought over epic acts like Floating Points, Hunee, Tom Trago, and Legowelt – and each and every time the floor has absolutely heated up, proving to have become on of the dopest parties in Tokyo. In the fall of 2019, Bradley Zero was brought over for the first open air party, which was a huge success. The primary theme of Kewl is to provide a genre-less selection of music, and this time EITA, Knock, and Frankie $ are up to bat from the resident team. Armed with an MPC 2000XL and a crazy dance style, Mr. G will surely be sending out nothing but positive vibes to those who venture to come experience this one night of amazing tracks!
