Innovator on the frontline of German House music, Nick Curly is set to perform at the highly acclaimed party, Brightness at VENT!

One of the leading artists in the German House scene who has also fronted record labels like 8bit and Cecile, and has released numerous club hits, Nick Curly will be headlining Brightness (which just celebrated 5 years of success with an epic rooftop party!). Once a year, Brightness holds a club party, and last year marked the first time they held it at VENT to a crazed dance floor full of partiers who danced the night away, which quickly became a hot topic within the Tokyo scene. Brightness has had a big impact on the scene here with its lineup of innovative artists who have been sought after to play in Japan.

Nick Curly has been on the international stage for 10 years now, and his sound is constantly evolving, taking his hometown of Mannheim’s sound global – playing anywhere and everywhere form huge festivals to small quaint clubs. Recently he’s embarked upon his own club event, Trust, playing at clubs and festival around the world. Nick has a real talent for picking out highly talented acts to play at these parties, making for an unforgettable time wherever they may play. Nick is also no stranger to the charts, ranking on Resident Advisor, among others. His productions through Knee Deep in Sound and Truesoul have been lauded as some of the highest quality works by DJs all over – when the needle drops on one of his tracks, the floor just explodes!

Nick began playing the keyboard as child and maintains the same enthusiasm for music now as he did back then. Making music is truly a way to connect with people – this is his credo.
