Fuji Rock、Mutekなど世界中のフェス/クラブでのプレイで現代のダンスミュージックを更新し続けるNicola CruzがBONNA POTを主催するNUSICのパーティで3h DJセットで登場！

昨年末にリリースされたニコラ初のDJミックス『fabric presents Nicola Cruz』では、南米から生まれた現代的なサウンドという特徴はそのままに、過去の作品とは違った新しい領域を表現している。テクノ、ベース、ブレイクス、アナロググリッチなどドライブ感のあるエレクトロニックダンスミュージックを中心としつつも、世界中のリズムを現代的に再構築した要素や、南米の美しい歌が混ぜられた奇妙で実験的な作品。VENTでも驚きに満ちた、なのに底抜けに楽しいダンスセットを聴かせてくれるだろう。

ROOM1のオープニングには、ドリーミーなハウス/テクノ/ディスコグルーヴの中に、刺激的なスパイスがちょうどいい量入っているような新しいバランス感覚を感じさせてくれる新世代DJ、Little Dead Girlがニコラクルース本人からの共演希望により2時間セットで登場する。

ROOM2では、それぞれが独自の比類ないサイケデリックダンスミュージックをプレイする3人のDJがラインナップ。クィア・レイヴ “SLICK” を主宰しAcid Pauli主催パーティーやWonderfruit、Garbiczなど、東京アンダーグラウンドが産んだスタイルで世界に活動の幅を広げる、7e。様々な音楽要素が散りばめられたディープリスニングな楽曲を緻密な構成によって不思議なサイケデリック感をともなうディープテクノ的にアウトプットする新感覚のDJ、nø¡R。今年のFuture Terrorでのディープテクノのその先を提示するような革新的なプレイで話題になった、鏡民がプレイする。

A true trailblazer in the world of contemporary dance music, Nicola Cruz has been wowing audiences at top-tier festivals and clubs across the globe, including iconic gigs like Fuji Rock and Mutek. Now, he’s gearing up for an epic three-hour DJ set at NUSIC’s party, organized by BONNA POT!

Nicola’s inaugural DJ mix, “fabric presents Nicola Cruz,” dropped late last year, unveiling a fresh soundscape distinct from his previous creations, yet firmly rooted in the essence of contemporary music emanating from South America. This mix is a captivating and experimental masterpiece that harmoniously blends energetic electronic dance genres (techno, bass, breaks, analog glitch, and more) with contemporary interpretations of global rhythms and the enchanting melodies of South America. At VENT, you’re in for an exhilarating and delightful dance journey, marked by unexpected twists and turns as Nicola Cruz takes you on a sonic adventure.

Kicking off Room 1 is Little Dead Girl, a rising star in the new generation of DJs. She skillfully blends dreamy house, techno, and disco grooves with just the right touch of excitement. Nicola Cruz personally requested her for a two-hour set, promising an exceptional opening to the night.

In Room 2, we have a lineup of three exceptional DJs, each bringing their unique and one-of-a-kind psychedelic dance music. First up is 7e, the mastermind behind the renowned queer rave “SLICK.” She’s been making waves in the Tokyo underground scene and beyond, with appearances at events hosted by Acid Pauli, Wonderfruit, and Garbicz. Next is the captivating sounds of nø¡R, a visionary DJ who crafts mesmerizing deep techno with an enigmatic psychedelic touch. Through a meticulous blend of deep listening music and a myriad of scattered musical elements, nø¡R’s sets transport you to uncharted audio dimensions. Closing out the lineup is Kyomi Togashi, who made waves with her groundbreaking performance at this year’s Future Terror. Together, they’ll unveil the future of deep techno.

The show kicks off at 9:00 p.m., so make sure to be there from the opening. Don’t miss out!
