Dekmantleも認める新たなるバレアリックヒーロー、Young Marco

今や世界のダンスミュージックシーンの中心地となったオランダ・アムステルダムから現れた若き才能！トロピカルなリズムやアフロビート、中東ディスコ、ハウス、テクノ、インダストリアルなジャックトラックなどを縦横無尽に繋ぐDJスタイルで、地元アムスはもとより世界のバレアリックヒーローになった若き才能、Young Marcoが4月21日のDISKO KLUBBにて、遂にVENTに初登場を果たす！

同郷の名門レーベルRush Hourから作品のリリースを重ね、日本限定でCDも発売されたデビューアルバム『Biology』はResident Advisorの年間ベストアルバムにも選出。同じくアムステルダム発で今や世界を代表するフェス／レーベルとなったDekmantleのコンピシリーズ『Selectors』の第2弾を監修（第1弾はMotor City Drum Ensemble、第3弾はMarcel Dettmann）。イタリアのアンビエントパイオニアGigi MasinとイギリスのアーティストJonny Nashのコラボ作品など、まさにジャンルの壁を超えたリリースはアンビエント、バレアリック、ニューディスコ～ディープハウスまで様々なエモーショナルサウンドが詰め込まれたYoung Marcoのユニークなスタイルを築き上げてきた。

昨年にはDiscogsの売上トップアルバムリスト第4位にランクインするほどの超人気アーティストが披露するドリーミーなトリップにVENTで浸ってみてください。

Balearic hero, Young Marco from Dekmantel Festival

From the center of dance music scene Amsterdam, talented Young Marco is thriving! His DJ style is hugely inspired by tropical rhythm with afrobeat, middle-east disco, house, techno, industrial sound. Not only his home base the dam but he surely became world Balearic hero. He is on his way to Tokyo and appears at DISKO KLUBB on April 21st!

Young Marco has been releasing from Rush Hour Records and he even released Japanese limited edition “Biology” as a debut album and it was charted in the best albums of the year on RA. Also, he supervised compilation series “Selectors” for Dekmantel festival/label. (1st series is done by Motor City Drum Ensemble and 3rd by Marcel Dettmann) Featuring Italian ambient pioneer Gigi Masin and collab track with English artist Jonny Nash, he is jumping genres one another. Young Marco’s emotional set is packed with ambient, Balearic, new-disco to deep house.

His popularity is proven by last year’s Discogs with charting into 4th
