2019年初となるC.E主催のパーティがVENTで開催!! Will Bankhead、Beatrice Dillon、Lukid、Mars89が出演！

ダンスミュージックシーンと密接にリンクする洋服ブランド、C.Eによる2019年度初のパーティが2019年5月18日土曜日に表参道のVENTにて開催決定！The Trilogy Tapes主宰のWill Bankhead（ウィル・バンクヘッド）をはじめ、本邦初DJとなるBeatrice Dillon（ビアトリス・ディロン）、初来日のLukid（ルーキッド）、そしてMars89（マーズ・エイティーナイン）の4名が出演する！

Will Bankheadはシーンの誰もが信頼をおくUKの人気音楽レーベルThe Trilogy Tapesの主宰として知られ、Hinge Fingerの運営もJoy Orbisonと共同で行っている。イギリスのインターネットラジオ局、NTSではマンスリープログラムを担当している。

Beatrice DillonはUKはロンドンを拠点とするアーティスト、ミュージシャン、DJ。前述したWill Bankheadのレーベル、The Trilogy TapesやThe Vinyl Factory、Where To Now?、Hessle Audio、Boomkat Editionsなどより楽曲をリリースするほか、Call SuperやKassem Mosse、Rupert Clervauxとの共作、多種多様なアーティストの楽曲のリミックスも行っている。

プロデューサー、ミュージシャン、DJ、そしてRezzetteのメンバーであるLukidは、Actressが主宰するNinja Tune傘下のWerkdiscsから4枚のアルバム、自身のレーベルGlumやMute傘下のLiberation TechnologiesなどからEPをリリースしており、昨年2018年にはRefreshers名義でのEPも発表した。DJとしてWill Bankhead同様にNTSでマンスリープログラムを担当している。2019年4月26日にはWarpのサブレーベルArcolaより2年ぶりとなるLukid名義のEP、Dripをリリースする。

東京を拠点に活動するDJ、コンポーザーであるMars89は、2016年にEP、East End Chaosをリリース。2017年にはLucid Dream EPをBristolを拠点とするレーベルBokeh Versionsからダブプレートとカセットテープの2つのフォーマットでリリース。2018年にはアジアツアーや大型フェスへの出演を経て、Bokeh Versionsから12インチEnd Of The Deathをリリース。Growing Pains S/S 2018、UNDERCOVER A/W2019のショーミュージックを担当した。ブリストルのNoods Radioではレジデントを務めている。

一貫性を保ちながらもエクスペリメンタルなラインナップとなった本パーティは、ワールドスタンダードなダンスミュージックを体験できる一夜となるだろう！

VENT is proud to host the first C.E. produced party of 2019, featuring performances by Will Bankhead, Beatrice Dillon, Lukid, and Mars89!

C.E., the clothing brand known for close ties to the dance music scene, will be throwing its first party of 2019, on May 18th (Saturday) at Omotesando VENT! Will Bankhead the head of The Trilogy Tapes, Beatrice Dillon – who will be DJing for the first time in Japan, Lukid – also first time in Japan, and Mars89 are on the lineup for a night filled with superb dance music.

Will Bankhead is the head of influential UK label The Trilogy Tapes, and a name that everyone in the scene would recognize, who also co-runs Hinge Finger with Joy Orbison. He also has a monthly program on NTS Radio.

Beatrice Dillon is a London based artist, musician and DJ. She has released on Will Bankhead’s The Trilogy Tapes imprint, as well as several other labels, including: The Vinyl Factory, Where to Now?, Hessle Audio, and Boomkat Editions. She has collaborated with artists like Call Super, Kassem Mosse, and Rupert Clervaux, and has remixed many artists.

Producer, musician, DJ, and member of Rezzett, Lukid has released 4 albums on Actress-led, Ninja Tunes sub-label Werkdiscs. He’s also released EPs on his own label Glum, as well as on Mute sub-label Liberation Technologies. In 2018, he released an EP under the Refreshers moniker. As a DJ, like Will Bankhead, Lukid also has a show on NTS Radio. On April 26, Lukid will drop the “Drip” EP – first one in two years as Lukid, – on Warp sub-label Arcola.

Mars89 is a Tokyo based DJ and composer who released the “East of Chaos” EP back in 2016. In 2017, he released the “Lucid Dream” EP on Bristol label Bokeh Versions on dub plate and cassette formats. Throughout 2018, Mars89 was very active within the Asian scene as well as in the large festival scene, and also released “End of Death” on 12″ through Bokeh Versions. He was the music director for the shows of 2 Tokyo based fashion brands: Growing Pains (S/S 2018) and UNDERCOVER (A/W 2019). He’s currently a resident for Bristol’s Noods Radio.

A novel lineup that is experimental at its core but consistent in taste, this will certainly be a night to remember. Prepare yourself for a night full of world-class dance music – do not sleep on this!
